FLIGHT AND FALLOUT:
Europeana Information Design Project
Europeana Information Design Project
The goal of the project was to create a paper based information design project, using one specific chapter from the book 'Europeana: A Brief History Of The Twentieth Century' by Patrik Ouředník. The assigned chapter explored the development of technology in the 20th century through inventions in the field of air warfare, with a focus on the fragile balance between invention and destruction, and its eventual impact on global communication. This work was later expanded into a digital project, exploring modern communication and the evolution of mobile phones.

Through meticulous textual analysis, information mapping, and creative execution, our project unveils the multifaceted nature of historical events while navigating the constraints of paper-based storytelling.

DESIGN PROCESS
Utilizing information design on A4 paper, we had to craft a narrative that seamlessly intertwines typography and geometric shapes, while also laying the groundwork for a subsequent mobile digital work as a continuation of the paper based project.
